How we inspect every vehicle before it reaches the lot
A look behind the service bay doors at what we check, what we fix and what we refuse to sell.

Every vehicle on our lot passes through the same inspection before it gets a photo shoot. Here is what actually happens.
Step 1: History first
Before a technician touches the car we pull a full history report and verify the VIN against the vehicle. If the history does not match what we were told, the car goes back.
Step 2: The mechanical check
Our technicians work through a written checklist covering:
- Engine, transmission and drivetrain, including a cold-start check
- Brakes, rotors and pads measured, not guessed
- Suspension, steering and tire depth
- Battery and charging system, including battery health on hybrids and EVs
- Fluids, belts, hoses and leaks
Step 3: Fix, then price
Anything that fails is repaired before listing, and the cost is already included in the price you see. We do not add reconditioning fees at the desk.
Step 4: The drive
A senior technician road tests every car on city streets and the highway, listening for noises that a hoist cannot reveal.
What we do not sell
Cars with structural damage, unresolved flood history or odometer discrepancies never make it online. If a vehicle fails, it leaves our lot through a wholesale auction.
